Twirl For Me

I don’t really like staring at a blank ceiling. Therefore, when I came across a wiki-how to create a 3D snowflake…I used it but in a different manner. Instead of putting the different arms of the snowflake together to make one huge piece, I took each of the arms and punched a hole in the corner, strung them with ribbon and took my push pins to pin them to the ceiling. It really created an amazing effect and my roommate and I LOVED it.

I did each in a different color, trying to separate them out evenly when I pinned them up. These ornaments, paired with a string of Christmas lights around the top edges of our room, just changed the entire atmosphere. Not that we weren’t happy before, but coming in to see this each day just instantly put a smile on each of our faces.
