Mills is a young and vibrant student in her second year at the College of Charleston. She is majoring in Communications and attempting a minor in Creative Writing.
Not really having any idea what she wants to do with her life, Mills has turned to the allure of the city to give her ideas and inspiration for her future endeavors. Charleston captivates the senses and opens the mind to different aspects of life.
Charleston’s multiple venues and the local market allow for easier access to the simple, inexpensive items in our society while the stores on King Street offer the different high-priced ideas and trends.
Being a college student on a college budget, Mills endeavors to recreate the expensive trends and designs she sees in the extravagant brand name stores and to keep a look that is as inexpensive as being able to say that line that she lives in a “drunk city with a historical problem”.
